Fuji GSW690iii with Kodak Portra 160VC

Today I am posing photos taken with the Fuji GSW690iii and Kodak Portra 160VC. I haven’t shot with this camera for a while, and I can’t really say I missed it. Despite being able to produce stunning images (the Fujinon 65mm is a spectacular lens), I can use use the D800E with the 24-70mm and get great images, the convenience of the zoom lens.

Now, this is not something you see every day ! A tree in the middle of the road is a rare photographic subject.

I always liked the look of the Portra 160VC, and it was a film I would happily continue to use if it was not discontinued. I think there is only one for left in my fridge (expired), so looks like the end of an era for my color negative film choices.
