This is the third part of my classic cars photos, this time with Leica M6 and Fuji Superia XTRA-400 film.

If you read my previous post which has the same subjects shot with the Makina 67 and Kodak Portra 160, you will notice the more contrasty and vivid look here. The XTRA-400 has warm colors and of course the Summarit is a modern lens with great microcontrast and colors.

In some pictures, I prefer this look, but of course when printed, the medium format really shines. Nevertheless, you can also have great large prints from the Leica also, no doubt about that !!

The Xtra-400 has been a favorite film for me, it has a very distinct look and despite its grain, it can produce very good images. With a warm filter attached, its fantastic for cloudy days also.

The Leica Summarit is a lens I haven’t used as much as I should in the past, but with color film it’s really a wonderful lens.

Enjoy the rest of the images.
