This is the second part of my images of classic cars I had the chance to see a few days ago. The photos are again taken with the Plaubel Makina 67, but this time I used a color Portra 160 film, since some of the cars had beautiful colors.
The new Portra 160 is a great film and although I still prefer the look of the discontinued 160VC, its nice to shoot with a modern emulsion which among others, has a beautiful grain. The Nikkor lens of the Plaubel has a less contrast look than my a Leica lenses and it gives smooth tones which is one of the great advantages of medium format.
Part III of my classic cars post will follow with images taken with a Leica M6 and Fuji Superia XTRA 400 film.
