Street photos with wide angle lenses

A few street images taken with Voigtlander super wide Heliar 15mm f4.5 and Leica Elmarit 28mm f2.8 lenses. I don’t usually use these lenses for street photos, but getting closer to make a street image was very a very different experience than using a 50mm. It also creates a very different perspective.

(Leica M7, Leica Elmarit 28mm f2.8, Kodak TRI-X 400)

(Leica M7, Voigtlander super wide Heliar 15mm f4.5, Ilford Pan F)

Both films were developed using Ilford DD-X developer (8 min at 20C).

  1. Great blog Konstantinos, it’s great to see others passionate about photography and photographic film.

I use Delta 3200 from time to time, however I have tried Ilford PAN F 50, and for long exposures it is brilliant, go seek it out.

Thank you David. Its been a long time since I shot Delta 3200, I have some left in my fridge. The Pan F is indeed a great film, great contrast and look.
