Its been a busy week, so I didnt post as often as I usually do. I had the chance last weekend to shoot my Sinar Norma 4×5 camera with Kodak TMAX 100 film. A very fine grained film which gave me very good results in both medium format and 35mm cameras.
This particular subject was suitable for employing the movements of a view camera. I used both rise/fall and tilt movements in order to ensure that the whole area would be in focus and also absent of any distortion. On these subjects the view camera really shines.
I developed the film using the TMAX developer (actually my last bottle of it, next time I will probably rely on my very familiar Ilfotec DD-X which also has given me great results with TMAX 100).
The range of tonality is really great and indeed this is a very fine grained film.
