At the beach on a winter’s day

Visiting a beach on a cold winter’s day ensures that you will be able to take a few images without the presence of people (with the exception maybe of a few fishermen). It’s was an overcast day and I had loaded Kodak Portra 160VC in my Gaoersi 617 panoramic camera.

Since I had plenty of time, I used the Gaoersi the way its meant to be used, composing and focusing carefully with the ground glass and applying the necessary filters.

LEE ND 0.9 filter, LEE ND GRAD 0.9 filter, f/64, 6 seconds exposure)

I converted the images to b&w since my expired Portra 160VC had great color shift and I also found the monochrome version to be better suited for the situation.
