Today I am posting three images taken with the Makina 67 loaded with Kodak Portra 400VC film. I have only one more roll left of this fabulous film which I am currently shooting with the Fuji GSW690 camera.
Over the years, Portra 400VC has been my favorite film for my medium format cameras, especially with the Plaubel. It allows me to get faster speed which are essential since I am mostly shooting this camera handheld. The colors and contrast this film produces are beautiful and I rarely make any serious corrections in post process. I am sure going to miss it. The new Portra 400 which I am probably going to use from on, is more neutral with a supposedly finer grain and more suitable for scanning (at least that’s what Kodak claims). I will have to shoot a few more rolls of it before I ch any concussions.
Enjoy the rest of the images.
