Silky infrared water

A river is always a good subject for taking some silky water images. With an infrared filter these images look quite different.

The necessary tripod for these kind of images allows me to choose a smaller aperture (usually f/8). This way, I don’t need to bracket focus, since the depth of field is large enough to ensure a well focused photo. I know I should probably shoot most of my IR images on a tripod, but the easiness of shooting infrared handheld with the M8, makes me get lazy many times !!
