Landscape photos

After two weeks of relaxing, and taking images offlowers, droplets and insects, at last I decided to drive for an hour and find a decent landscape to shoot. Weather conditions were not very good (there was some haze), but the polarizer filter made things a little better. I actually only shot two frames, which were enough for they day.

I added a ND Grad filter effect, and boosted saturation and contrast a little, and the photo turned up pretty good. The files of the D800E can really withstand lots of abuse and still keep the quality, so with my minor process, the final image suffers no visible loss from the original file, even at zoom crop.

This is shot at the same location but at a wider angle. Weather will be rainy for a couple more days, so my next landscape trip will have to wait a while.
