After shooting some buildings (read my previous post) it was time for a different subject. The city of Kastoria at Greece is built around a beautiful lake and there are lots of boats around. So, my next subject was boats !!
Together with the Sony NEX 5N I had the Leica M8 with an infrared filter attached to the lens. I made a few images but soon I got back to “normal light” photography. Once again I used the Sony 18-55 lens (I am becoming lazy lately, using the zoom instead of my favorite primes). In many cases the HDR mode employed to provide a greater dynamic range and it worked fine.

I have said it many times, but once more, I find the NEX to be the best travel camera I have owned !! (Note: after uploading this post I noticed that images 3 and 4 were a little different from what I am used from the NEX. They were sharper and the there was something about the tones. I did a quick EXIF reading and discovered that they are actually pictures taken with the Leica M8 and Elmarit 28mm. So much about the 18-55 zoom, next time I am mounting a Leica or Voigtlander prime !!!)
