Infrared images with Leica M8 and B+W 092 filter

It’s been a while since I took out my Leica M8 for a walk. I had really almost forgotten the way this camera feels in your hand, and the simplicity of its operation. The new mirrorless cameras may be the trend today, but the feeling of the Leica M is something beyond description.

Since it was a sunny day, I decided to take a few infrared images (after a long time). As usual, the B+W 092 filter was my choice, together with the Voigtlander Skopar 21mm f4 and the Leica Elmarit-M 28mm f2.8.

All images were shot handheld with maximum ISO 320 (above that its get’s messy). Although the M8 is capable of doing IR images handheld, there are some of the above images which I should have used a tripod in order to get greater depth of field and less blurry images.
