Creating a 136 megapixels panoramic image

The 1:6 panoramic image you can see below is composed from 32 different images shot with the Nikonn 28-300 lens and stitched with Autopano Pro.

Shot on simple tripod (no panoramic head) with the Nikon D700. The fast DSLR allowed me to get all 32 images very fast while the very small portion that each images covers prevented ghosts effects from moving subjects like people and cars. Stitching digitally is a very good way to get multi megapixel images which can be printed at huge sizes with superb image quality. I used the Autopano Pro software which did an excellent job.
