Street photography is one of my favorite subjects. I used to walk a lot with my camera and take candid shots, but during the past months I have been almost exclusively devoted to landscape and panoramic photography. I will probably change my mood some time in the future and get back to what I consider to be one of the more fascinating and influential kinds of photography.
The Leica M remains my favorite camera for the street, although in low light situations the Fuji X100 with it’s high ISO performance suits me more. And of course there is the good old Ricoh GX200, a camera that lacks the image quality but has superior ergonomics (probably the only camera I can fully operate with one hand), a zoom lens and a fantastic black and white JPEG.
Enough with words, here are the images.
