The Sony NEX camera utilizes a panoramic mode where you swipe the camera horizontally or vertical while it shoots images, and stitches them to a panoramic image. While it can not be compared to a “true” stitching digital method (combine multiple shots on a tripod), or a true film panoramic camera, it’s a great tool for panoramic snapshots.
Sometimes, the panoramic mode can be an inspiration for creating special images like the ones below. About the second image with the pole, this is as it came straight out of the camera, probably due to the distortion of the 16mm pancake lens and the fact that I was not holding the camera as steady as I should. A great result !!
