Infrared images in black and white are great. White foliage,black skies and dramatic contrast and a unique look. But there is also another way to present your infrared images. Blue sky, yellow foliage and a extra terrestrial look.
The technique is pretty simple, just swap the red/blue channels and you are ready. Since I first read about the technique at another site, it’s only fair that I provide the link to a great infrared tutorial at http://www.lifepixel.com/tutorials/infrared-photoshop-basics
As always, I use the Leica M8 camera with a B+W 092 filter. The Voigtlander Skopar 21mm f4 and Leica Elmarit-M 28mm f2.8 remain my primary lenses for infrared photography. All the images below are shot with this combo.
